A Passion for Healthy Water—Passed Down Through Generations
Tomson’s Aquatic Solutions grew from one man’s love of the outdoors and understanding of aquatic biology into a family commitment spanning three decades.
Our Story
Our story began with our father, Tom—an avid boater, sportsman, and lifelong student of the natural world. During his travels, he encountered lakes with exceptionally clear, healthy water. With an academic background in biology, he understood that their condition was not accidental: it resulted from the balance between water, plants, aquatic life, circulation, and the surrounding environment.
Tom combined that knowledge with his passion for the outdoors and founded the company in 1996. His dedication to aquatic environments earned him recognition as the 2004 Limnologist of the Year at Spinnaker Ridge (FLRW).
That knowledge, curiosity, and respect for the water were passed along to everyone here. For three decades, our family has maintained and cared for ponds, lakes, and water features of nearly every size—from backyard ponds to expansive lakes and complex aquatic systems.
A Thoughtful, Nature-Focused Philosophy
Whenever conditions allow, we seek to minimize unnecessary chemical use and support the natural processes that help an aquatic environment regain and maintain balance.
Rather than viewing every concern as something that requires an immediate chemical response, we consider the water feature as a complete living system. Our goal is to help guide that system toward healthier, more stable conditions while respecting the plants, fish, wildlife, and people who depend on it.
